Cees Stavleu
Cees Christiaan Stavleu (1958) obtained his doctorate in 2025 at Protestant Theological University, Utrecht. Cees Stavleu is an independent scholar specializing in the translation of animal names for SAHD. His research spans the evolution of the dietary laws in Leviticus 11, the subject of his doctoral dissertation, as well as the study of figurines from Tell Deir ‘Alla and its surrounding regions.
