Paul Sanders is assistant professor of Old Testament at Protestantse Theologische Universiteit (Utrecht, the Netherlands). He lives in The Hague. He is coordinator of the project Semantics of Ancient Hebrew Database. Most of his publications concern the text and theology of the Hebrew Bible and the position of the Hebrew Bible within ancient Near Eastern literature.
